Torah Tuesday & Torah Saturday
With Rabbi Greg
Torah study is the world's oldest bookclub. Twice a week you can participate with Rabbi Greg.
Ever wonder how a rabbi prepares to facilitate Torah study?
For some people, the idea of studying Torah is super intimidating. It is a sacred document written thousands of years ago. Where would I even begin? The good news is that the right rabbi can help you access this ancient wisdom in a way that is relevant to you. Not only is it illuminating, it is fun!
Torah Tuesday offers the Torah curious of all levels a fishbowl view of Rabbi Greg preparing to lead Saturday Torah study. At the end of Torah Tuesday, you'll see a first draft of the study sheet that we'll use in the Zoom House of Study on Saturday. You can see the archive of past source sheets on Sefaria here.
Think of it as Twitch for Torah nerds. Soon you'll be able to livestream these sessions on YouTube. Check out the archive on the American Mussar YouTube Channel.
Torah Saturday in our Zoom House of Study
Join us every Saturday at 8 AM PT/9 AM MT for a discussion of the weekly Torah portion. Torah study is the world's oldest book club. People have been discussing Torah together on Shabbat longer than people were praying together on Shabbat. And your interpretation is just as important as an interpretation from a famous rabbi who lived 1000 years ago.
Please join us as we meet on zoom to explore the material Rabbi Greg prepared on Torah Tuesday.
